One of the things that many writers do is teach – or, as I prefer to see it, facilitate. I work with adults and young people and enjoy the dynamics of working with different groups, both large and small.
Eric Hoffer once said that “the greatest weariness comes from work not done”. Workshop facilitation is a practice that gives energy as well as creating it. This coming weekend I’m working with young people in Lucan Library and am really looking forward to facilitating the transformation of enthusiastic ideas into stories – to being a witness to work being done.
